What does the Bible say?

Psalm 18:35
You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.

1 Corinthians 15:54-58

54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." 55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

John 6:33  33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Personally.....

I know that the battles of life are not mine to fight and that I can rest in the fact that God is in control and that the battle against Satan is won.  I may still struggle in life but I can lay them at the cross where the victory lies!
