E is for Eternal
Definition - without beginning or end; always existing; lasting forever;
What does the Bible say?
God is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. Trying to even reason the idea of no beginning and no end is nearly impossible; at least it is for me. But God is Eternal and is not bound by time. Honestly, if I think about this too long it feels like my head is going to explode. Let's look at some Scripture.
I Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be
honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:
and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name
is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of contrite and humble
spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Revelation 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

I love this post. I wrote about something similar for last year's E post. I used to fear death but now, that I am with God, it isn't so scary anymore.
